Terms of Service ("Terms") regulate the use of services provided by Safehands, a partnership firm that operates under a registered office located at 202, Wadi Wala Complex, Pandesara GIDC, Udhna Main Road, Surat, Gujarat, India ("Safehands", "Company", "we", "our", or "us") through our mobile application, website or any other platform.

Upon using or accessing the Platform or booking any services through Safehands, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

In case you do not agree to any Term, kindly refrain from using the Platform and services offered by Safehands.

 

1. SERVICES

 

1.1 The following is an exhaustive list of domestic and household staffing services provided by us:

 

Maid/House Help

Cook Services

Household Assistance

Others that are related to home-based services provided from time to time

1.2 Safehands acts as a mediator between the customers and domestic workers and may even assign domestic workers to its customers according to its operational requirements.

1.3 Domestic workers employed or assigned by Safehands could either be its employees, contractual employees, or associated service providers.

1.4 Services shall be provided upon the availability, location and operational feasibilities.

 

1.5 Safehands reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion for safety, legal, operational, or misconduct-related reasons.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform or book Services.

2.2 By using the Platform, you confirm that all information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete.

 

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

3.1 Users may be required to register using their name, mobile number, address, email address, or other details.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account and login credentials.

3.3 Safehands shall not be responsible for unauthorized access caused by your negligence.

 

4. BOOKINGS

4.1 Customers may place one-time service booking requests through the Platform.

4.2 Booking confirmation shall depend on worker availability.

4.3 Safehands may reschedule, replace, or cancel bookings due to operational issues, emergencies, worker unavailability, or safety concerns.

4.4 Estimated service timings are indicative and may vary depending on local conditions.

5. WORKER VERIFICATION

5.1 Safehands implements reasonable methods of verification for workers that may include:

Identity verification

Address verification

Background verification

Document verification

5.2 Although Safehands makes reasonable efforts in verifying the workers, Safehands cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party documents or records.

 

6. REPLACEMENT POLICY

 

6.1 In the event where the maid or worker quits during the agreed upon service period, Safehands may be able to provide a replacement worker, pending availability.

6.2 The time required for a replacement service will depend on the following factors:

Availability of workers

Location

Customer needs

Market circumstances

6.3 However, there will be no replacement services in instances of:

Customer misconduct

Unsafe working conditions

Nonpayment

Violation of these Terms

7. DUTIES OF THE CUSTOMERS

 

7.1 Customers should ensure that there is a safe, respectful, and legal working environment.

7.2 Customers shall not:

Violate or harass the staff

Discriminate against the staff

Compel the staff to carry out any illegal actions

Retain the agreed payment

Jeopardize the safety of the staff

7.3 Customers are responsible for protecting their valuable, money, jewelry, and other important items.

7.4 Safehands will not take responsibility for any loss of unattended valuable.

 

8. PAYMENT TERMS

 

8.1 Service charges will be conveyed before any booking.

8.2 Payments can be made through:

UPI

Bank Transfer

Online Payment Gateway

Money (as allowed by law)

8.3 Safehands can change its prices anytime.

8.4 There may be registration charges or any other subscription charges in the future.

8.5 In case of non-payment, services can be stopped.

 

9. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

 

9.1 Cancellations may be made prior to service delivery.

9.2 Refunds will be granted according to:

Timing of cancellation

Status of service

Operational expenses incurred

9.3 Safehands is permitted to subtract administrative or operational expenses if applicable.

9.4 There will be no refunds for completed services unless legally mandated.

 

10. PLATFORM USE LIMITATIONS

Prohibited uses include:

Illegal activity through the Platform

Misrepresentation of information

Unauthorized access attempts

Content reproduction and use

Bypassing the Platform to directly hire Safehands-introduced employees to avoid service charges without written authorization

 

11. DIRECT HIRE PROHIBITION

 

11.1 Customers must not directly hire, solicit, or recruit workers introduced through Safehands without the Platform during their service engagement and for a reasonable duration afterward without Safehands' written consent.

11.2 Failure to comply with this provision could lead to penalties, account suspension, or litigation.

 

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

12.1 The entire content of the Platform, including trademarks, brandings, software, text, graphics, and other media, is proprietary to Safehands or its licensees.

12.2 Reproduction, distribution, commercial exploitation, or any other use of content requires written consent.

13. PRIVACY

 

13.1 Safehands may collect and process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

13.2 Personal data may be used for:

 

Service provision

Verification

Customer service

Legal obligations

Security and fraud prevention

13.3 Safehands may disclose information to the police if it is necessary to do so by law.

 

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

14.1 Safehands will not be responsible for:

Indirect or consequential losses

Losses of profit

Personal issues arising between the customer and worker

Downtime caused by unexpected events

The actions of third parties

14.2 Safehands’ liability will be limited, to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, to the sum of money paid by the customer for the particular reservation.

 

15. DISCLOSURE

 

15.1 The Services are provided “as available” and “as is”.

15.2 Safehands makes no guarantees that the availability of workers or Services will be consistent.

15.3 Safehands makes no guarantees regarding any results, satisfaction, or compatibility between customer and worker.

 

16. TERMINATION

 

16.1 Safehands may suspend or terminate the account if:

It breaches these Terms

It conducts fraudulent activities

It behaves unprofessionally

It fails to make payment

There are safety concerns

16.2 You may stop using the Service at any time.

 

17. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

 

17.1 The terms of service will be governed by the laws of India.

17.2 The courts of Surat, Gujarat will have sole jurisdiction over disputes concerning these Terms.

 

18. FORCE MAJEURE

 

Safehands will not be held responsible for any delay or non-performance due to circumstances that are beyond its control, such as:

 

Natural disasters

Pandemic

Governments regulations

Strikes

Internet issues

Employee emergencies

20. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS OF SERVICE

Using the platform implies agreement to the modified terms of service.
